Financial Aid Information

Can I use my current LaGrange College scholarship(s) and
financial aid to study away?

LaGrange College Scholarships:
LaGrange College scholarships cannot be applied to a semester or academic year abroad.  However, students who will be studying away during their sophomore or junior year are eligible to apply for the Smith Travel Grant.

Federal and State Financial Aid:
Students who have successfully completed the LaGrange College study away approval process may be eligible to continue to receive federal financial aid (grants and loans) while participating in a LaGrange College for credit, pre-approved study away program. The Office of Financial Aid determines the amount available.

Students will complete a study away budget form with the assistance of Global Engagement and Financial Aid.  This will be used to determine the total cost of study away and the available resources to fund it.  Students will be required to complete additional forms to allow their financial aid to travel.
