Prior to working for LaGrange College, Michele had a career in promoting museums and historic sites.  She held several positions with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., and New York City where she accompanied the Smithsonian Study Tours and Seminar Programs to England, Scotland, Wales, France, Italy, Portugal, and Brazil and several domestic programs to Arizona, the Okefenokee Swamp, Oregon, and New York.  She also assisted with Cooper-Hewitt National Museum of Design study programs to Venice and northern Italy to study Palladian architecture and assisted with architectural tours of Charleston, SC, Saratoga Springs, NY, and New York City.

Michele has been with LaGrange College since 2005 and currently oversees International Student Services and the Study Away Program in the Office of Global Engagement.  During this time she accompanied faculty-led courses to the Philippines and Italy, sent students to study or intern in several countries including the Dominican Republic, Thailand, England, South Africa, Argentina, Ecuador and Italy, and has welcomed international students to LaGrange from five continents.
Michele has a BA in art history from Kent State University and an MA in International Education from the School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, VT. She looks forward to helping you plan your international experience while at LaGrange College.
