COVID-19 and Study Away
At this time, LaGrange College requires all students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before they can study away. Many countries require arriving travelers to have received a booster shot prior to entry and many are not admitting unvaccinated travelers from the U.S. or are imposing significant restrictions on unvaccinated travelers within the country (e.g. access to museums, restaurants, bars, and events). All students must also abide by the vaccination and testing requirements of the host country and the United States.

Course Cancellation Due to COVID-19
The Global Engagement Risk Management Committee will cancel a course if events in a country or region indicate that the safety, security and health of the students cannot be reasonably mitigated. In the case of COVID-19, Global Engagement and the Risk Management Committee will draw information from the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the CDC websites as well as reports from partners abroad to inform the decision to cancel a faculty-led study away course.
Official notification of the course cancellation will be made by the Office of Global Engagement by email. Refunds to students will depend on when the course is cancelled and the amount of funds paid to program providers.
Please refer to the State Department and the embassy of your destination to monitor any entry requirements.
